Mac System Up Time
See when your Mac last rebooted or how long it’s been running for with these two commands.
To launch terminal on a Mac, press command ⌘ and space, in the pop up window type ‘terminal’
Uptime
Running the command ‘uptime’ will give you the following information:-
The Current Time
How long the device/system has been running for
How many users are currently logged on
System load averages*, for the past 1, 5, and 15 minutes.
*System load averages, the number of processes that are currently in a runnable state or a process which is uninteruprible. A process which is in a runnable state is currently using CPU power or waiting to use available CPU power.
Last reboot
Running the command in terminal of ‘last reboot’ will tell when the machine was last rebooted, returning a list of the most recent events.
